Sebold Capital is currently seeking:

Director of Financial Planning

This talented candidate will step into an instrumental role leading our financial planning department:

  • Recruit, develop and retain a high-performing team for our financial planning department
  • Oversee technologies being used for retirement projections, tax planning and other analyses
  • Improve processes for preparing and presenting client meeting materials which identify financial planning opportunities available to clients
  • Research new tax, retirement, risk management and estate planning opportunities and manage financial planning content circulated to our firm’s clients and professional contacts
  • Serve as a member of the Sebold’s management team responsible for meeting annual client retention and business development goals by establishing best practices within the department

The qualified candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree required with a preferred concentration in Finance, Business or Economics
  • CFP® designation
  • 5-10 years of financial services experience; relevant wealth management experience a plus
  • Experience as a department or team lead preferred
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with a persuasive and articulate communication style

Associate Financial Advisor

This talented candidate will step into an instrumental role within our financial planning and portfolio
management departments.

  • Preparing materials for client and prospect meetings
  • Providing client relationship support
  • Assisting in recommending and executing financial planning objectives for clients
  • Preparing performance and other reports using portfolio management software
  • Reviewing portfolios and assisting in rebalancing/trading processes
  • Reconciling transactions and assisting with data management projects
  • Compiling investment and macroeconomic research

The qualified candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance / accounting or equivalent
  • CFP® preferred, or in process of obtaining certification
  • Two years business related experience
  • Strong analytical and attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with a persuasive and articulate
    communication style helpful
  • Excellent time management skills
  • High level of proficiency with MS Office
  • Tamarac / eMoney, and Junxure knowledge a plus
